Dairy farm owners, managers and those responsible for people on large farms are being offered the opportunity to participate in the Leadership, People and Culture Program to improve their skills in human resource management.
This dairy-specific program run by Dairy Australia and the University of Tasmania is designed for managers, owners and those responsible for human resources and workforce planning on dairy farms. Topics covered include Farm Organisation and Leadership, Culture, Compliance and Employment and Workforce Planning Strategy and Change. The Pastoral Award 2020 will also be covered during the program.
Learning will be conducted in-person at the Dairy Australias Melbourne offices, broken into three blocks each held over three consecutive days. Participants can choose to complete one, two or all three blocks. Learning assessments are offered at the end of each block but are not compulsory. If a participant successfully completes all three learning blocks and their associated assessments, they will earn a micro credential which can be used as a credit towards study for the Graduate Diploma in Agribusiness Dairy.

Costs
This program is a paid course. Costs payable to the University of Tasmania are:
One course = $800 Two courses = $1,100 Three courses = $1,300
*Note:Travel, accommodation and some meal fees will also be covered by participants.
