Join us for an on-farm discussion focusing on heifer rearing with Jeremy Jones from Nowra vets.


During this workshop we will be exploring the fundamentals of heifer management to support future fertility, production and longevity in replacement dairy heifers.


Topics include:


  • Monitoring heifer rearing from weaning to joining
  • Practical ways to monitor growth
  • Setting specific benchmarks for your heifer mob.

Our session will conclude with lunch and a chance to catch up, network and socialise.

Bring along any questions or issues you'd like answered. The discussion will be focused around areas of interest to the group and current seasonal challenges facing heifer rearing on farms.


Please bring a chair and hat with you and wear enclosed shoes.


Morning tea and lunch will be provided, please include any dietary requirements.
