Managing farm costs is fundamental to running a successful dairy farm business. Year in, year out costs contribute to the bottom line and profit achieved by farmers, and in tight years the need to understand costs and manage cash flow is critical.

Lift your EBIT per kgMS, understand your costs and improve your margins.

Want to improve profitability and make more confident business decisions? Join our Cash, Costs and Margins workshop to learn how to:

Understand where your money is really being made (or lost)
Calculate your cost of production
Assess whether an extra input will actually improve profit
Use simple calculations to evaluate feed and fertiliser decisions
Identify opportunities to improve your EBIT per kgMS.

This interactive one-day workshop will be facilitated by experienced farm business consultant, Daryl Poole - RMCG and will introduce the Farm Business Snapshot tool and Dairy Australias Standard Chart of Accounts. It will discuss the levers that can be pulled to better manage costs with a view to the long-term profitability of the farm.
