The online Farm Business program is supporting farmers to build on their knowledge and skills strengthening their farm business to better manage the risks associated with a variable climate.
Agriculture Victoria invites you to join other farm business owners and managers for the free short course starting the 14 October running over 6-weeks.
Farm business consultants Rural People Co will be facilitating the program covering 5 modules on:
Module 1: Identifying and managing risks, strategic planning and setting business goals
Module 2: Financial management, budgeting and profitable decision making
Module 3: Climate risk and natural resource management
Module 4: Managing people on farm, succession planning and farm safety
Module 5: Businessplanning
Each session will commence at 12 pm and will run for approximately 2 to 2 hours.
As part of completing the course, participants are encouraged to develop a farm business plan. A one-on-one session will be offered with Adam Jenkins from Rural People Co to review their business plan. These sessions will be held between Module 4 and 5.
