Subtropical Dairy is invites you to join us online for a 'Cool Cows' online workshop with Dr Neil Moss (Scibus) on Monday, 12th October 2026.

This session will provide farmers and service providers with information on the best ways to manage dairy cows through hot conditions.

Topics to be discussed:

• Tips and strategies focusing on a range of topics including feed selection, preparation and management, milking timing and strategies to maximise intake, an update on current research on feed additives and discussion regarding the importance of managing non-milking stock to minimise heat stress
• Practical strategies to manage cows during heat events
• An overview of new nutrition research to mitigate heat stress via dietary interventions
• Short and long term heat stress management

There will be an opportunity for an online discussion and a Q & A session.
