Virtual Classroom: Meet Farmer Narelle (National Agriculture Day)

Celebrate National Agriculture Day with Farmer Narelle!

Introduce your students to one of the many Australians who play a vital role in putting food on our tables with this fun and interactive virtual classroom session designed for students from Prep to Year 7.

Students will meet Farmer Narelle, a passionate advocate for agriculture who loves connecting young people with where their food comes from. Narelle, along with her husband Joel and her parents, runs a family dairy farm that milks up to 300 dairy cows. They also run a Speckle Park beef herd, a 4,000-acre cropping program, and agritourism business Dairy Adventures, where Narelle shares her passion for farming through fun, interactive, and educational experiences.

We invite you to get in the Ag Day spirit by wearing something green and joining us to explore daily life on a farm, how milk and dairy foods are produced, and the importance of sustainability in agriculture. Its the perfect opportunity for curious minds to gain a deeper understanding of farming and the important role it plays in our lives.
