The GippsDairy team use their extension, administrative, technical and practical skills to deliver on the organisation's vision to look after the interests of dairy farmers in our region.

Allan Cameron
Regional Manager - Executive Officer

Allan wants farmers to get value for their dairy service levy dollar.

Allan has an agricultural science degree from Melbourne University as well as graduate diplomas in applied finance and financial planning.

With his strong financial background, Allan is keen to use GippsDairy's resources to further improve the financial literacy of dairy farmers, while also helping to improve their capacity to grow grass and produce milk.

    Sallie Clynes
    Executive Assistant
    Sallie has a strong and diverse background in administration and is comfortable working across a wide range of activities. This includes everything from event and meeting organisation, board support, report writing and providing full admin assistance to the Regional Manager/Executive Officer.

      Donna Gibson
      Regional Extension Officer

      Donna has previously worked with Agriculture Victoria as a technical officer in dairy soils and nutrient research and as a milk supply officer for milk processors.

      Donna's role at GippsDairy is across all extension activities, with an emphasis on animal performance.

        Katherine Vaughan
        Administrative Assistant

        Katherine assists the GippsDairy Extension Officers with their preparation and coordination of events. She is responsible for database management and various aspects of office administration.

        Katherine’s background in business development, client service and event management is complimentary to this role.

          Sarah Cornell
          Regional Extension Officer

          Sarah Cornell has seen the dairy industry from multiple viewpoints.

          Sarah looks after workforce development, including the New Generation Skills Project, farm safety and the Young Dairy Network. In her role, Sarah is keen to engage as many young people as possible in the New Generation Skills project and the Young Dairy Network and assist farmers to become Employers of Choice.

            Katherine Byrne
            Regional Extension Officer
            Katherine Byrne has spent the past twelve years working on farms in Gippsland. Throughout this time, she has undertaken a traineeship, GippsDairy courses as well as studied Agribusiness at Marcus Oldham. Katherine hopes that her hands-on experience and practical studies will be of great benefit to assisting other farmers. She looks forward to broadening her knowledge further from her interactions with the farming community.

              Kathryn Fox
              Regional Extension Officer

              Kathryn has an Agricultural Science degree and a Business degree from La Trobe University. She has worked in banking and herd improvement within Gippsland over the past few years, providing her with a good foundation to support Gippsland dairy farmers. Kathryn is passionate about animal health and welfare and looks forward to helping to improve farm practices to achieve business goals whilst remaining sustainable into the future.

              Kristen Davis
              Regional Extension Officer
              Kristen holds both Masters of Agricultural Sciences majoring in Animal Science and a Bachelor of Agriculture from the University of Melbourne. Kristen’s background is in herd improvement, previously providing solutions to farmers across Gippsland with a strong emphasis on analysis, interpretation and application of data. Her passion lies within animal performance and herd improvement, in particular reproduction and genetics. Through this, she aims at improving productivity and profitability of farmers.

              Robyn McLean
              Regional Extension Officer

              Growing up on a wheat and sheep farm in Northern Victoria, Robyn has been involved in the agricultural industry for most of her life. Since moving to Gippsland, Robyn has specialised in Dairy Herd Improvement, primarily focusing on Herd Recording. Robyn hopes to use her knowledge and passion for the agricultural industry to provide Dairy farmers with up-to-date and industry-specific information that contributes to a sustainable dairy industry.

              Sarah Collier
              Communications

              Sarah has worked in marketing and communications across different industries for almost ten years. She has a passion for writing and a ‘story well told’. The role of the communications and engagement officer is to promote the activities of GippsDairy, help engage farmers and service providers in programs that benefit the industry and to help farmers access information that can help grow their farm business.
