Beloved entertainer to headline WestVic’s Dairy NiteMoooves

Shane Jacobson

Australian comedian, actor and presenter Shane Jacobson will be the master of ceremonies at WestVic Dairy’s new feature event, Dairy NiteMoooves.

Returning to western Victoria, where he filmed one of his biggest hits, the movie ‘Oddball’, Shane is certain to bring a great deal of laughter to the proceedings.

Dairy NiteMoooves will be an evening of fabulous food, entertainment, and will feature music from Cobden band ‘Avalon’, who will perform some of the best music from the last few decades.

The evening will be held at the Terang Civic Hall on Wednesday, 12 June.

As the Great South West Dairy Awards transition to a biannual event, Dairy NiteMoooves will be 2019’s premier night out for the local dairy community.

WestVic Dairy regional manager Lindsay Ferguson said his team is committed to celebrating dairy farmer achievements in the region through a range of events.

“The long-established and respected awards gala evening will now be held biannually, and in 2020 will again recognise the best in our industry over a range of categories,” Mr Ferguson said.

“This new event will still retain the awards theme – we will be catching up with some previous winners to see where they are now and how their businesses or careers have developed since they won their award.”

The evening will celebrate the dairy industry and allow farmers and the wider dairy community to get together for a great social event.

WestVic Dairy chair Simone Renyard said she was looking forward to the night.

“What an absolute thrill to have Shane Jacobson as our MC for the first Dairy NiteMoooves,” she said.

“We warmly welcome him to our region and look forward to the laughter and stories he will bring along.

“We all deserve a night out and the chance to celebrate the great industry we are all part of.”

Tickets to Dairy NiteMoooves are on sale now priced at $35pp, which includes a drink on arrival, plentiful food and of course great entertainment.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com.au, or call the WestVic Dairy office on 5557 1000.
