The Gippsland Dairy Industry Leadership Group (GDILG) is proud to share the draft Gippsland Dairy Industry Strategy; a 10-year strategic plan to ensure a thriving Gippsland dairy industry.
We are seeking your feedback on the draft strategy by 5pm Wednesday 21 May 2025.
We’ve done a large amount of consultation with over 160 people and 59 organisations about the key challenges and future opportunities for the Gippsland dairy industry. The input from consultations has been organised into five themes for a Gippsland Dairy Industry Strategy:
- People
- Prosperity
- Innovation
- Environment stewardship
- Community values the industry
This strategy demonstrates that the Gippsland dairy industry is organised and ‘investment ready’ for opportunities for investment in infrastructure, people, or programs. This strategy also guides GDILG leadership for identified projects and details how dairy industry stakeholders can support a thriving industry.
