Are you Dairy NSW's next board director?

05 July 2026

Applications are now open for three director positions on the Dairy NSW Ltd board.

A skills-based board governs Dairy NSW, bringing together experienced farmer and industry representatives to set its strategic direction. The board meets every two months and works to deliver value for NSW dairy farmers through industry leadership and research, development and extension activities.

Dairy NSW is seeking up to three directors this year:

  • at least one farmer director, and
  • two non-farmer directors (industry or specialist skills).

Dairy NSW encourages applications from people who bring diverse perspectives and relevant expertise. A broad range of skills adds value, and experience in dairy processing, governance and change management is especially welcome.

Ideally, successful applicants will be able to:

  • commit the time and energy the role needs for reading, meeting attendance and committee duties
  • build and maintain productive working relationships across a broad range of stakeholders
  • bring adaptive leadership and strong critical thinking, and
  • complement the skills of the current board.

Dairy NSW pays directors for attending meetings.
