South Australia Team

Shannon’s role includes delivering and facilitating extension activities with a focus on Animal Health and Welfare. She helps run additional workshops as needed for the region including grant writing support and disaster. Shannon is the coordinator of the Young Dairy Network and Dairy Discussion groups alongside her team. 

Shannon has a Bachelor of Animal Science and a Master of Global Food and Agricultural Business. She has a strong drive to better the agricultural industry.

Mikaela is responsible for extension planning and delivery in her role where she facilitates and delivers farm and relationship management services to dairy farmers across South Australia.

Mikaela has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and a Master of Animal Science. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in the dairy nutrition and farm consulting spaces. She has enjoyed working in all production systems, from low input grazing through to robotic grazing.

Chelsea works closely with Dairy Australia staff to coordinate and deliver communication activities. She also manages the social media channels across South Australia and Western Australia.

Chelsea has a Graduate Diploma in Journalism and has extensive experience as a regional journalist, where she covered a range of topics including agriculture. She has strong communication skills which she utilises in her role.
